it's birthday time!
Well here it is my birthday. I never know how to feel on birthdays. Once you move out of mom and dad's house and your not able to throw yourself a big princess party anymore they kinda lose some excitement. But I am glad that God gave me one more year here. And what a wild ride it's been.
Since my last birthday I have had I believe 5 or more different jobs, made countless new friends, grown in ways I never would have imagined, traveled overseas, and I started school again! The year has seen many ups and downs for my family and for myself. My moms side of the family certainly does not want to relive this year again as it brought many scary medical problems. However, I do believe that these times have brought them closer together and made them more of a united front. God certainly knows what He is doing even when we are left confused. Some of my best friends moved away this year. That was hard to deal with but the cool fact is that miles don't change a thing when you have a strong connection with someone. It's hard not to get to see them everyday, and to live in their old place now. But I know God has us both doing exactly what He wants with our lives and for that we all feel very priveledged.
So with that I am excited to see what this next year brings. I'm hoping for more friends, maybe deeper relationships with the ones I have, hopefully not five more jobs! My masters degree! And whatever else the Lord sees fit to do. I can't wait!
