Almost to the finish line, and the start of another race!

Well I'm almost there! This past weekend I finished the last class of my masters degree. I handed in the paper to my professor and said "well that's it, I'm done. As long as you pass me I'm done with my masters degree." he replied "woah no pressure huh?" I said "nope no pressure just pass me = )"

I still have two weeks left of my internship so on August 17th I will officially be done with my degree! I can't believe I got it all done in a year! It was crazy and there were a few times I didn't think I was going to make it through but you know, God is, and always has been faithful to pull me through what He calls me to. So I am grateful that He saw me through this and give Him all the glory for it.

Now it's on to finding a job and all that fun stuff. I am praying through some options right now. My mom is going to go to a inpatient hospital for her leg and I have offered to go with her. The program is a month long so I am praying about what God has instore for a job. Either I will do temp work or get hooked up with someone who will allow me to telecomute for a month. Either way I am glad for the opportunity to go and support my mom and know that God will provide what is needed.

My friend Stefanie and I will also be working this year on a plan to open a center for terminally ill children. We want to open a center in a hospital where the children can come and have a place to feel like children. Not a disease or a term but children. We want them to feel capable and competent to still not only live but thrive! We wnat them to know that they don't have three months till they die but three months to live. We are still working out all the particulars and feel so blessed that God has brought us both to the point in life where we can dream big about this and see what happens with it. So please pray for us as we take this on that we would not get in God's way but allow Him to work out every detail.

We are also gearing up for the new semester at CU. I can't wait for the students to return and to meet some new ones. Please pray for this campus that God would be known and worshiped here. That past hurts would be healed and that Satan would no longer have a foothold here. Also please pray for our team as we seek what God's will is for this next semester. Over the next few weeks we will be praying and making decisions about retreats and programs and what not and would really appreciate your partnership in that.

Well that's all for now. Drop me a note and let me know what God is doing in your life!
